What are some of the advantages of buying a kit rather than making my own kit?
Commercial emergency kits and first aid kits contain proven products. These kits should have a very stable emergency food source. These food bars are specially formulated to last for 5 years. Commercial kits also contain packaged water that also has a 5 year shelf life. If you created your own kit, you would have to change the canned foods and water every year or so. So the cost ( in time and money ) of maintaining your own kit must be taken into consideration. Commercial kits also have products you might not have around your house like solar powered flashlights, small emergency radios, water purification tables, toilet chemicals, small emergency blankets and tents to name a few items.
How many days should I plan for?
It is highly recommended that your survival pack should sustain you and your family for 3 days or 72 hours. There is a lot of press lately that mentions the 72 hour kits. Most kits available these days are rated for 3 days or 72 hours but be sure to check.

The type of kit that works best for you depends on your location, number of family members/pets and your price range. The minimum survival recommendations include having enough emergency food and water for at least 72 hours as well as shelter supplies for warmth. We ship UPS ground, 2nd day air and next day air. We also ship FOB on larger orders. The prices vary by weight and location.

What is your return policy?
We accept returns, free of shipping charge, for product defects/malfunctions. Please notify us within 7 days if your order is damaged in any way and we will refund your payment in full. Any other returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee and the customer is responsible for shipping each way. Please note that due to mandated health codes, food and water items are non-returnable.

When you pre-sell to your customers you will be responsible for collecting the tax and shipping cost associated with the product. We will provide you with the shipping charges associated with each product. Each state and county has different tax codes regarding taxation for charitable organizations.
When the charitable organization orders in bulk they will receive reduced shipping rates. All orders in bulk must be shipped to one location in order to receive the reduced shipping rate.
